I honestly really enjoyed your class. I could tell from head on you cared deeply about your students achieving. Also, I enjoyed your way of teaching. It's refreshing to have a down-to-earth teacher in college. Furthermore, I greatly appreciated all your extra credit (knowing some of us need it...ME). Also you willing to stay after-hours for those who still needed help was greatly appreciated.
And of course, what I didn't like. Probably the fact we never got to really choice our topic to write on. Of course we got to choice the subject of the topic, but I would have loved to actually choose the topic altogether. It would have made for better creative writing. Also I would have loved to maybe have some choices of the book we were to read. I'm not saying let us pick out our own book, but a selection would have be nice. I found it rather difficult to stay focused into the life of Anne Boleyn. Don't get me wrong though, it was a pretty good book, just not something I would read or find interest in, but it was very informing though.
Anyways those are my thoughts and comments about my first college english class. I hope you have a wonderful summer Ms. Hanson, and good luck on finishing your Master's Degree (if I'm correct).
