A Novel of Anne Boleyn: Part 2 Chapter 1
First of props to the author on such fine detailing of scenery. I had to stop a couple of times to imagine what 21st century Anne was looking at before and after her time travel . Not to mention I also ended up googling tudor styles such as; homes, dresses, and paintings. Anyhow to return to the subject, Chapter 1 is basically taking and introducing you to Anne Boleyn's family and home through 21st century Anne's eyes. After Anne blacks-out she is woken by Anne Boleyn's sister Marry. Anne starts to think her tour guide has started somewhat of a dressup-play. After grasping her thought's, Marry tells her she must get dressed for the king. This is when Anne soon realizes that she is no longer in her time. The castle has taken on an older look, and the 21st century renovations are no longer there. The once plain walls had been decorated in oil paintings of men and women in either tudor or medieval clothings. Eventually Anne's senses kick in and she starts taking charge of her situation. Anne right away establishes a loving relationship with Marry, and although Marry and King Henry had an affair, Marry holds no resentment for her sister. It shows Anne how much love Marry has for her sister. Marry ends up sharing stories with Anne of her past encounters with Henry and how her personality is like no-other.
